报告名称:Energetic/Suprathermal Electrons from the Sun
摘要:Interplanetary energetic/suprathermal electrons from the Sun carry crucial information on the particle acceleration at the Sun. There are two major phenomena of these energetic/suprathermal electrons: solar energetic electron events and solar wind suprathermal electrons. Solar energetic electron events are one of the most common particle acceleration phenomena occurring at the Sun. These events were thought to be accelerated in solar eruptive events such as solar flares and coronal mass ejections, lasting from tens of minutes to a few days in the interplanetary medium. Solar wind suprathermal electrons are found to be continuously present in the solar wind, including a strahl population, halo population and superhalo population. I will present recent studies on solar energetic electron events and solar wind suprathermal electrons.
报告人简介:王玲华,北京大学地球与空间科学学院研究员、博士生导师,主要致力于日球层高能粒子物理的研究和仪器研制工作。2009年获得美国加州大学伯克利分校物理系理学博士。2009年至2012年在加州大学伯克利分校空间科学实验室工作。2012年入选国家级人才计划,回到北京大学任教。现担任Solar Orbiter飞船上EPD仪器和BepiColomboMMO飞船上MPPE仪器的Co-Investigator,以及国际期刊JGR-space physics的副主编。获得了第十二届中国青年女科学家奖和2017年亚太等离子体物理杰出青年科学家奖。
