报告内容简要:

The nature of dark energy remains a central mystery in cosmology. While LCDM provides a robust framework, dynamical alternatives such as quintessence offer testable deviations. In this talk, I will present constraints on three quintessence models—thawing, tracker, and scaling-freezing using the first detection of the Integrated Sachs-Wolfe (ISW)–thermal Sunyaev-Zeldovich (tSZ) cross-correlation (Ibitoye et al. 2024). Beyond dark energy, our results reveal connections between large-scale structure and stellar feedback, gas pressure profiles, and magnetic fields that may influence both the tSZ signal and cosmic ray propagation paralleling processes seen in solar system plasmas.  While focused on cosmology, this work opens pathways for multi-scale joint analyses combining cosmological, and even heliophysical datasets to simultaneously probe dark energy and the physics of cosmic baryons.
